RoadGuard’s specialized services include guardrail/ guide rail installation, commercial fencing solutions, bridge railing services, highway signage, and specialty fabrication.

 

About the Role

 

The Project Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering complex geohazard mitigation and specialty construction projects for RoadGuard. This position manages all aspects of project execution—from planning through closeout—by coordinating field teams, technical resources, and client communication in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

 

Success in this role depends on strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship management skills. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, drives results through collaboration, and ensures that each project reflects GSI’s commitment to technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily project execution and field coordination, ensuring work is completed to design, quality, and performance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and positive relationships.
  • Oversee project setup, documentation, and contract compliance throughout all phases of work.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to align project planning, staffing, and logistics.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, providing proactive solutions to maintain progress and client confidence.
  • Support field and project staff, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage project closeout processes, ensuring accurate documentation and successful turnover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project or field management within construction or geotechnical environments.
  • Familiarity with project budgeting, scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience with project management software preferred.
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Compensation Range: $66,000 - $84000 plus participation in the company equity program, and full benefits.
